The Rio Salado Sportsman Club operates on 140 acres of land owned by Arizona Game & Fish. The facility is well equipped and maintained, including:

Covered shooting benches with target holders from 25 to 300 yards

A practical pistol range

bullet

A covered 40 - position small bore range to 100 meters

bullet

Covered long range rifle and pistol silhouette ranges to 500 meters

bullet

High power rifle range to 500 yards

bullet

Shotgun - trap

Statistical Office and Restrooms.

A residence for a Range Master is also provided.

The range is open to the public from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., seven days a week. The
range is closed Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving day, Christmas day and New Years day.

Rio Salado Practical Pistol also holds "The Tuesday Night Steel" match every Tuesday night, Rifle/Shotgun matches on the 2nd Saturday of each month and other assorted matches (.22, Revolver and Sub Gun).

Match dates are always tentative, please check back often and always call ahead to be sure of a match date before driving to the range.
